COMMENTS: UNDINE is a very well maintained and well equipped Selene 40 Ocean Trawler. The Naiad stabilizers make the boat very comfortable in sea states that keep other boats tied to the dock. The large galley and open salon are the heart of the boat with excellent sight lines from both a standing and sitting position. The inside helm provides a safe and comfortable location to operate the vessel under any conditions, while the fly bridge helm station is an excellent place to drive from in pleasant conditions. Both helms feature full controls and a comfortable two person helm seat. The Selene 40 is a no non-sense trawler that strikes the balance between form and function. The wide side decks are easy to get around and safe thanks to their high bulwarks and handrails. The minimal brightwork on the exterior results in reduced maintenance which is something that every boat owner will appreciate. There is a well laid out engine room and easy access to systems. UNDINE has comfortable accommodations. The master aft cabin features an island queen berth with numerous drawers and ample hanging locker space. There is also a washer/dryer and a private head with separate shower stall (through which you access the walk- in engine room). The guest cabin is forward and has a large vee berth with plenty of ventilation and light, courtesy of a large deck hatch and twin ports. The second head is also located between the forward cabin and the salon. If you are ready to do The Loop or head south for the winter, please come and inspect UNDINE. She is owned by very knowledgeable owners who have boated for a very long time. She shows excellent maintenance. Co-designer Ted Hood made exceptional choices in making this a solid, comfortable boat that would appeal to former sailboat owners. Very stable in any seas (especially with the Naiad stabilizers). John Deere engine is built for reliable continuous duty. Great for cruising to Maine for  weeks, or a weekend getaway. Built to do long passages in safety.
