HULL & DECK:

• Hull is one piece fiberglass and balsa core sandwich construction.
• 2000 Dark blue Imron painted hull topsides; white double boottop, green bottom.
• Off white deck and trunk cabin top is fiberglass with balsa core.
• Dorade ventilators mounted on teak boxes.
• S/S guards over forward dorade/salon hatches to reduce sheet fouling and added security on deck.
• Edson pedestal 36” wheel steering with Garmin GPS above binnacle compass; teak cockpit table.
• Hull and deck are thru-bolted with S/S bolts on 6” centers.
• Teak toerails, eyebrows and cockpit coamings are finished in Cetol.

ACCOMMODATIONS:

• Very attractive all varnished teak interior with teak and holly soles.

• Next aft is the main salon with settees port and starboard, and a dinette table on centerline along with the mast. 
• U-shaped galley is next to port with a large enclosed head with stall shower opposite.
• The aft cabin contains a double quarter berth to port, the navigation station to stbd and the companion way steps in the center. It is separated from the saloon by a louvered door and louvered doors on the opening in the bulkhead from the galley as seen in the following plan/picture.
• The galley includes a S/S Hillerange three burner LPG stove and oven, S/S sinks, and a Sea Frost engine driven refrigeration system.

COMMENTS: CAST OFF is one of the popular C&C 38 Landfall sloops and has only had two owners. This present owner purchased her in 1988. Between 2002-2010, CAST OFF remained out of the water at the owner’s home. In 2020, due to Covid, the vessel was not launched. CAST OFF has had diligent maintenance and she shows very well. Recent upgrades and improvements include a new Doyle stack pack mainsail, Espar diesel heating system, epoxy barrier coating on the bottom. These Landfalls were designed to give a fine turn of speed, but the interior layout was built for comfortable cruising as well, utilizing three cabins. This C&C Landfall was laid up and finished in Bristol, RI and includes a better fit and finish using varnished teak joinery throughout. It is very attractive and roomy.
