VAYU (Hindu God of Wind) is one of the well-respected Pearson 35 K/CB Sloops. Although built in 1970, she shows caring ownership. Her present  owner purchased in 2015 (survey available) and he has upgraded many items including all new exterior teak installed by Johanson's Boatyard, new Dodger & Sail cover, new engine mounts, exhaust system, new centerboard pin and cable, new compression post for mast, new fuel lines and more. VAYU is an ideal family cruiser for the Maine Coast, and allows one to enjoy sailing at a modest investment.   • The main salon has L-shaped dinette to port with teak dining table which lowers to form a double.
  • To starboard is the galley with icebox/nav table to starboard and S/S sink and gimballed three burner Hillerange LPG stove and oven, and hot and cold pressure water. There are numerous lockers.
  • The interior bulkheads are teak, the berth cushions are a blue-gray tweed, and the cabin soles are fiberglass.
  • Access to the engine is excellent behind the companionway steps.
