VESSEL DETAILS

HULL & DECK:

  • Solid fiberglass hull with molded in plank lines, and rubrails and quarter rails with bronze half round cap.

  • White hull original gelcoat, red boottop, blue bottom; 2019 spring bottom paint.

  • 2010-2011 new teak sole on forward end of flybridge; also, fore and side teak decks removed as well as sole at aft end of flybridge; new fiberglass decks Awlgripped with Nonskid.

  • Original teak cockpit sole in good condition.

  • 2018 all new bronze thru hulls.

  • Teak swim platform with swim ladder.

  • New 2010/2011 tracks on all main salon windows.

  • 2000 bottom sand blasted, then epoxy barrier coated using Interlux.

  • 2010 Dark blue flybridge bimini and 2007 cockpit bimini, repaired in 2018; also, 2008 flybridge cover.

  • Varnished teak top rails with tan Sunbrella covers.

  • Bronze stanchions and heavy duty hardware.

  • 2019 Refinished all exterior teak with seven coats of Epiphanes varnish.

TANKAGE:

Fuel: 260 gallons in two 130 gallon 2000 aluminum epoxy coated tanks with fuel manifold valving system.

Water: 140 gallons in 2000 S/S tank, aft in engine room.

Holding: 50 gallons in 2016 poly tank, located under cockpit sole including two macerator pumps with y-valve.

 

ENGINE & MECHANICAL:

  • 2009 Single American Marine 6N140, 140 hp diesel, FWC, with approximately 2500 hours.

  • 2009 Borg Warner velvet drive transmission, 2.1:1 reduction gear.

  • 2007 Michigan LH 24 x 15, 4 bladed prop; also, spare prop same size.

  • 2017 new bronze engine sea strainer.

  • 1 ½” S/S shaft.

  • Vetus bow and 2018 stern thruster, with controls at both stations.

  • 2013 heat exchanger and oil cooler.

  • Racor 900 fuel/water filter with vacuum gauge.

  • Bronze stuffing box; new cutlass bearing.

  • Improved access to impeller on engine making it much easier to check and change.

  • Marine Air reverse cycle air conditioning/heat pump, 110V only, and one compressor with two air handlers.

  • 2-50’ shore power cords with 50 amp to 30 amp splitters.

  • 12 gallon Raritan hot water heater, 110V or engine driven.

  • 2018 three large solar panels mounted on flybridge bimini (to continuously charge batteries and runs Isotherm 12V refrigerator-freezer).

  • High output engine alternator with Smart regulator.

  • 2009 Shurflo fresh water pressure pump.

 

ACCOMMODATIONS:

  • Typical of the Grand Banks, this yacht is beautifully finished with varnished Burmese Teak joiner work and a varnished teak parquet sole.

  • While natural ventilation affords a great deal of comfort, the yacht also has heat and air conditioning via one reverse cycle air conditioning compressor.

  • Natural lighting is equally generous and there is 12V LED lighting throughout, with a number of overhead lights, and a brass swivel style lamp at the berth and settees.

  • Starting forward is the private stateroom featuring a vee berth with filler, below which there are several storage drawers accessed under the foot of the berth.

  • Above the berth, the hull is lined with teak "ceilings" and there is a teak access door to the anchor locker at the forward bulkhead.

  • Aft and to port is a voluminous double hanging locker.

  • To starboard is the Head featuring a new electric Raritan fresh water W.C., plumbed via a y-valve to the new 50 gallon holding tank with macerator.

  • There is a vanity with S/S sink and new plumbing fixtures, good storage, and an ensuite shower system which drains to a separate sump pump.

  • Up three steps to the bright and airy Salon, Galley, & Lower Helm Station.

  • To starboard is the lower helm station with helm seat, with large storage locker below, full vessel controls and electrical distribution panels.

  • To port is the Galley (see Galley below) and aft is the salon, as comfortable as any found on a 32' boat.

  • The salon has an L-shaped settee to starboard with blue Ultrasuede cushions, with storage in lockers below, and forward, is a bureau with 5 drawers.

  • Opposite to port is a 6'1" settee, with storage lockers under.

  • There is a teak drop leaf table that has storage for bottles and magazines/books under (not presently aboard).

  • The slightly offset "center" door opens directly onto the aft deck which is covered by a bimini, for cruising in all weather conditions.

  • This Grand Banks 32 has been exceptionally well maintained and shows caring ownership.

 

GALLEY:

  • 2018 S/S Force 10 three burner LPG stove and oven.

  • 2018 Isotherm refrigerator-freezer, under the counter.

  • S/S sink with new 2007 faucet.

COMMENTS: This Grand Banks 32 has had numerous upgrades in the last 10 years to make her an outstanding example of these popular, high quality trawlers. Some of these improvements include a 2009 American Marine 140 hp diesel, new Bow and Stern Thrusters, new AGM batteries, new Bronze thru hulls, 2019 seven coats of Epiphanes varnish on all exterior teak, 2000 new aluminum fuel tanks, 2016 new holding tank and hoses, new Raritan electric fresh water head, new Garmin Radar & GPS’s, new S/S Force 10 stove and oven, new Isotherm refrigerator and freezer, new solar panels mounted on top of bimini to keep refrigerator operating full time. Other notables are an epoxy-barrier coated bottom, Marine Air conditioning/heat, and best of all, the side decks and foredeck are now non-skid fiberglass. This is one special Grand Banks.
